INSPECTOR-EX ® IS A MODERN SYSTEM SUPPORTING PASSPORTISATION AND INSPECTION OF DEVICES

Inspector-Ex ® is a system that supports operation of devices in hazardous areas. This is a useful tool for those responsible for inspection and maintenance of electrical devices in plants where gas and dust explosive atmospheres may occur. The main advantage of Inspector-Ex ® is that it facilitates and automates passportisation and inspection of explosion - protected electrical equipment and installations. The system enables identification , passporting of devices and reliable verification of their technical condition. The application reduces the workload associated with implementation and data processing and minimizes the amount of paper documentation. Inspector-Ex ® unambiguously contributes to an increase the level of safety of an installation in gas and dust explosive atmospheres. Inspector-Ex ® uses the PDA mobile technology with a barcode scanner or an RFID reader adapted to work in potentially explosive atmospheres and a PC application located on your computer. The main advantage of the system is that it facilitates and automates the inspection of explosion protected electrical equipment. Inspector-Ex ® enables on-field reliable verification of the technical condition of controlled devices and longer inspection intervals. The core of the system is a set of active forms with a list of questions prepared in accordance with standards, EN-IEC 60079-17, EN-IEC 60079-14, knowledge and experience of ASE in the field of Ex technology and good engineering practices. Active forms adapt automatically to the type of control and the type of used explosion protection, creating relevant inspection templates. The intrinsically safe PDA mobile device is adapted to extreme working conditions. The controller has at its disposal a clear, bright 3,5 inch touchscreen. The task of the controller is only to answer subsequent questions of the control program.
